Nunn Reserves Iowa TV Ads

Combat aviator and U.S. Representative Zach Nunn has reserved seven figures of Iowa television time that will keep him on the air from July 31 through Election Day. The reservation is the largest any candidate in Iowa’s Third Congressional District has ever made this early in a cycle. It covers more than 13,000 rating points in Des Moines, with additional broadcast in Ottumwa and cable, streaming, and satellite to follow across Des Moines, Ottumwa, and Omaha. Reserving it now means Nunn’s record and Sarah Trone Garriott’s Iowa Senate votes run side by side in front of Iowa voters every week of the fall.

“Iowans have put our campaign in the strongest financial position it has ever been in heading into a general election, and we’re going to invest those resources where they matter most, earning votes in every corner of the district,” said Campaign Manager Brendan Duffy. “Zach Nunn has built a record of listening to Iowans’ concerns and delivering bipartisan results to lower costs, strengthen families, and keep communities safe. His opponent has a record of opposing common-sense priorities, from protecting girls’ sports and girls’ locker rooms to safeguarding children. By November, Iowans will face a clear choice between a representative who listens, delivers results, and puts Iowa first, and an opponent whose voting record is out of step with Iowa.”

This is an initial reservation, and the campaign expects to add to it. Nunn holds $1 million more cash on hand than at this point in the last cycle, and the campaign intends to spend it drawing the same contrast every week: results Iowans can name against votes Trone Garriott can’t keep running away from.
