Both the high school and middle school gyms at Van Buren County will be temporarily closed beginning Monday, June 29th while scheduled floor resurfacing projects are completed, according to a social media post from the school district.
The high school gym is being resurfaced with a water-based finish, which cures more quickly, and is expected to reopen after approximately one week. The middle school gym is being refinished with an oil-based finish, which requires a longer curing period and may remain closed for up to two weeks.
Agility classes scheduled during that time will also be cancelled.
