Donna M. Rolison, 95, passed away peacefully May 13, 2026 at Brookdale Mt. Vernon, Cleveland, TN.
Donna was born July 18, 1930 to Victor and Alberta Brooke Goode. Donna married Cortie J Rolison, Jr on May 28, 1950. Cortie preceded her in death November 2021.
A 1948 graduate of Ottumwa High School. Donna was a homemaker until she went to work at Lowell’s Fabric until they closed. She also worked at Sigels Furniture Store, Ranks, Pamida and CRST.
Donna was a member of Davis Street Christian Church. Donna received a Governor’s Award for volunteering. Cortie and Donna enjoyed traveling to NASCAR races together. Also for many years Cortie and Donna played the role of Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus and many children in the Ottumwa area enjoyed talking to them and sitting on their laps.
Donna is survived by her children: Cortie John (Jane) Rolison III of Cleveland, TN, Vicki (Rick) Artman of Murphy, NC and Susan (Tim) Simonton of Urbandale, IA; 7 grandchildren, Randy Artman, Dr. Bryan (Julie) Artman, Bryce (Jennifer) Simonton, Amber (Charles) Ludwick, Dr. Cortie John (Evelyn) Rolison IV, Brittany Simonton and Christopher (Elise) Rolison; great -grandchildren, Charley, Gracie, Hayley, Olivia, Hazel, Bryan Michael, Owen, Emma, Warren and William. She is also survived by her two sisters, Deena and Janice and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded ion death by her parents, brothers Elbert (Francis) Goode, James Goode, sister Margret (John) Sanders, brother-in-laws Walt McKim, Burle Wellborn and David Huffred.
Her body has been cremated. Services will be held at a later date.
