The Villages of Van Buren’s popular Virtual Auction is back for its sixth year, running from Friday, April 24th at 2 p.m. through Sunday, April 26th at 6 p.m. on the Villages of Van Buren Facebook page.
What began as a simple fundraiser has grown into one of the organization’s most anticipated events of the year. This year’s auction features a strong mix of local artisan work, small businesses, and community organizations, along with expanded regional donations that bring even more variety to the bidding. Expect everything from gift baskets and unique experiences to one-of-a-kind items — some familiar, some unexpected.
The auction’s reach has grown well beyond Van Buren County. Last year’s bidders came from across Iowa and as far away as Arizona, Florida, and Wisconsin, and past auctions have even drawn participants from California and New Jersey. With more than 14,000 engaged followers on the Villages of Van Buren Facebook page, the event puts local and regional businesses, artists, and organizations in front of a wide and growing audience.
Every bid supports the Villages of Van Buren, a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening Van Buren County through tourism, community engagement, and business development.
