The Marion County United Way will hold its second annual Giving Gala on Saturday, March 28, promising an evening of food, fun, and fundraising.
The event will run from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Knoxville Armory and will feature a three-course dinner, trivia, and a silent auction. All funds raised will support the organization’s efforts to assist 14 local nonprofits that provide programs in health, human services, and education throughout Marion County.
Kamryn Ryan, a board member with Marion County United Way, says the gala is an enjoyable way for community members to gather while giving back.
“It’s a wonderful chance to have a night out, connect with others, and support the community,” Ryan said. “The silent auction also helps local businesses, and the event welcomes people of all ages, so it’s relaxed and fun for everyone.”
The Knoxville Armory is located at 1015 N. Lincoln St. in Knoxville. Tickets are $40 per person or $300 for a table of eight and can be, at Marion County Bank, or through Venmo at @kamrynryan.
