Van Buren County High School senior Gavin Noll will continue his running career at the next level.
Noll recently signed his letter of intent to attend and run track and field, as well as cross-country, at Southeastern Community College in West Burlington.
While attending SCC, Noll will complete his Welding AAS degree and study Precision Machining, balancing his academic pursuits with his athletic commitments.
Noll said he chose Southeastern because of coach Lucas Keifer.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to run for him and to be a SCC Blackhawk,” Noll said.
Keifer has served as the Blackhawks’ men’s and women’s track and cross country coach since 2020.
Noll, who is getting ready for his senior year of track at Van Buren County, is coming off a successful senior cross-country season. He placed 59th at the Class 1A boys race at the 2025 state meet in Fort Dodge.
