In the early hours of Sunday, around 4:15 AM, a house fire broke out at a single-family home located on 30th Street Northeast in Cedar Rapids.
Firefighters quickly arrived on the scene to find the house ablaze. Fortunately, all five residents inside managed to escape without serious harm, although one person required evaluation at a local hospital.
Investigators are currently looking into the cause of the fire.
