Helping Hands will hold its annual School Supplies Sharing event on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 2 to 4 p.m. at its location in Knoxville. Families with children in local schools are invited to stop by and pick up needed supplies at no cost.
Those wishing to donate new school supplies can drop them off at the alley (rear) entrance of Helping Hands, 110 W. Main St., Knoxville, on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., through Friday, Aug. 15.
