On Sunday afternoon the Wapello County Car Guys held a benefit cruise for Darrell Scott, Bloomfield.
Scott was involved in a “Hit and Run” accident on, May 24th, in Bloomfield, while riding his bike.
Around 3pm on Sunday, 10 vehicles arrived at Carquest in Ottumwa to start the cruise. They departed Ottumwa around 3:30pm to drive to Bloomfield, where they met up with other members.
There was 33 vehicles signed in at Davis County Elementary School. 20 Vehicles cruised to The Frozen Oval Ice Cream Palor in Drakesville for ice cream.
There was a free will donation taken to help the Scott family with medical costs.
The donations for the day totaled $1,094.00
