Jeremy Goodale was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after serving 25 years back in 2023.
He pleaded guilty to first degree murder of a Fairfield Spanish teacher, Nohema Graber in 2024.
Goodale appealed his sentencing, saying the district court abused it’s discretion in falling to consider his status as a juvenile at the time of the crime.
The Iowa Court of Appeals ruled otherwise.The court said they found No abuse of discretion by the court in its consideration of the relevant factor.
