The Food Bank of Iowa’s Park-It-Pantry is helping Monroe County residents access fresh produce, meat and pantry staples through its monthly mobile food distribution in Albia.

The mobile pantry is located at the Monroe County Public Health building, 1801 S. B St., Albia. Food distribution begins at 10:30 a.m. and continues until 12:30 p.m., or until all food has been distributed.

The October 26 distribution included eggs, milk, rice, peanut butter, chicken, chicken legs, oatmeal, zucchini, cottage cheese, green peppers and potatoes.

The Park-It-Pantry program provides food assistance to individuals and families who need help accessing groceries.

Upcoming distribution dates include November 23, January 25, 2027, and February 22, 2027. There will be no distribution in December.

For more information, visit FoodBankIowa.org or call 515-564-0330.

Residents are encouraged to watch for future distributions and take advantage of this community resource.
