A motorcyclist was seriously injured in Ottumwa Tuesday morning.
According to the Ottumwa Police Department, a car versus motorcycle accident occurred at the intersection of Highway 63 and Rochester. 33-year-old Dakota Jeffery Boyer of Ottumwa sustained significant injuries in the wreck and was transported to Ottumwa Regional Health Center then airlifted to undergo further treatment.
The driver of the car, 25-year-old Dariann Burk of Eddyville, was uninjured. The accident remains under investigation
