Jefferson County Health Center announced the retirement of a doctor who has practiced medicine for over four decades.
Dr. Donal Hill, who JCHC says has been an integral part of our medical community for the past 44 years, will be stepping down on July 31.
Dr. Hill has devoted his career to family medicine, providing compassionate care to countless patients in the Fairfield community and surrounding areas. He began his medical journey in Fairfield in 1980 with the Medical Arts Clinic and became a valued member of the JCHC team when Medical Arts was acquired in 2014.
While we are sad to see Dr. Hill go, we are immensely grateful for his dedication and contributions to our organization and the community. His commitment to excellence and patient well-being has left a lasting impact on those he has served.
In honor of Dr. Hill’s remarkable career and retirement, JCHC is organizing a card shower. Patients and community members are invited to send Dr. Hill a card expressing their gratitude and well-wishes. Cards can be dropped off at the JCHC Clinics or mailed to the following

Earlier this year, JCHC sent a letter to Dr. Hill’s patients to notify them of his upcoming retirement and to begin planning the transition of their care. If you are a patient of Dr. Hill’s and you haven’t already discussed transitioning your care to a different provider, please contact the clinic at 641-472-4156.
Please join us in expressing our deepest gratitude to Dr. Hill for his tireless service and congratulating him on a well-deserved retirement. We will miss his expertise, warmth, and the positive influence he has had on our organization.
