PACKWOOD, IA – Ottumwa HyVee’s: North HyVee on Court Street, South HyVee on Quincy Avenue and Drugstore on the corner of Pennsylvania and Jefferson, along with Ottumwa Radio Group, want to congratulate the Pekin girls 4×400 Meter Relay squad, our 97.7 KOTM-FM Team of the Week!
Made up of sophomore Audrey Fariss, and seniors Lauren Derscheid, Sarah Eubanks, and Emily Laumeyer, the 4×400 team placed fourth at last week’s Class 1A IATC Indoor Championships with a time of 4:31.74. The meet at Iowa State University marked the season opener for the Lady Panthers, with the team placing fourth overall on the leaderboard totaling 38 points.
Our KOTM-FM Team of the Week feature is made possible thanks to the generosity of the Ottumwa Hy-Vees Management team, and the cooperation of our area schools.
