While medical care focuses on physical health, Mahaska Health says healing can also involve emotional and spiritual support. The hospital’s chaplaincy team works alongside patients and families, offering comfort, encouragement, compassion, and a listening ear during difficult times.
Through Chaplaincy Services, patients have access to spiritual care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Chaplains provide support to individuals from all backgrounds and faith traditions, respecting each person’s personal beliefs and values.
Whether someone is seeking prayer, spiritual guidance, companionship, or simply someone to talk with, the team is available to help patients and families find comfort and connection when they need it most.
