The Welcome Home Soldier Monument Annual Benefit Banquet is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, bringing community members together for an evening of food, fellowship and fundraising in support of the monument honoring America’s veterans.
The event will be held at the American Legion in Albia, Iowa. Dinner begins at 5 p.m., followed by an auction featuring a variety of items available for attendees to bid on.
Community members who have not purchased tickets in advance can still attend, as tickets will be available at the door.
The annual banquet provides an opportunity for residents to come together in support of the Welcome Home Soldier Monument and its mission to honor those who have served in the United States military.
