Two Pella police sergeants have completed an advanced leadership training program and earned a distinguished award recognizing their commitment to professional development.
The Pella Police Department announced that Sergeant Bryce Doane and Sergeant Hunter Boertje successfully completed the FBI-LEEDA Executive Leadership Institute, a week-long training held at the Altoona Police Department.
Both sergeants also received the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Award, which recognizes law enforcement professionals who complete all three courses in the leadership series: the Supervisor Leadership Institute, Command Leadership Institute and Executive Leadership Institute.
The award highlights their dedication to leadership development, professional excellence and community-focused policing.
The Pella Police Department says continued training and professional development remain important priorities as the department works to support its officers’ growth and strengthen the service it provides to the community.
