With the November 3 general election approaching, Iowa voters will have several opportunities this month to hear candidates discuss the issues facing the state and the country.
The North Iowa Free Press has released an October debate schedule featuring candidates for governor, U.S. Senate and Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District. All times listed are Central Time.
Iowa Debate Schedule
- October 6 – 7 p.m.

The debates are expected to give voters an opportunity to hear candidates discuss their priorities, policy proposals and plans for Iowa and the nation ahead of Election Day.
Iowa PBS has independently confirmed its October 7 U.S. Senate debate featuring Josh Turek and Ashley Hinson, as well as its October 8 2nd Congressional District debate and October 21 gubernatorial debate. Iowa PBS The four-debate gubernatorial schedule has also been confirmed by the Rob Sand campaign.
