City of Ottumwa crews will begin manhole raising work Monday, October 26, at the intersection of Wildwood Drive and West Finley Avenue.
The project will continue east along West Finley Avenue to Minneopa Avenue, then proceed north on Minneopa Avenue to Albia Road.
During construction, lane widths will be reduced in sections where crews are working. The project is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible. Drivers traveling through the work zone should slow down and use extra caution to protect both themselves and construction workers.
