Fishing enthusiasts will have an opportunity to enjoy a day of trout fishing when the Iowa Department of Natural Resources stocks 1,500 trout in the pond at Greater Ottumwa Park on Monday, November 2.
The trout stocking is scheduled for 11 a.m., giving local anglers a chance to get outside and enjoy some fishing in the community.
Residents are encouraged to bring their fishing gear and take advantage of the opportunity to catch trout close to home.
Anglers must have a valid Iowa fishing license and pay the required trout fee to participate.
The event offers an opportunity for both experienced anglers and those looking to enjoy a day of fishing to spend time outdoors at Greater Ottumwa Park.
