The City of Farmington is inviting residents to a community meeting Tuesday, October 13th at 6:00 p.m. at the Farmington Community Center to learn about upcoming plans to revitalize the city’s urban tree canopy, according to a social media post from the city.
With support from an Iowa Department of Natural Resources grant, the city has plans for tree removals and new tree plantings throughout Farmington over the next 18 months. The meeting will give residents an opportunity to learn more about what is planned for their community.
