The Appanoose County Historical Society invites the public to explore local history with a Haunted History Tour on Sunday, October 25, at Oakland Cemetery in Ottumwa.
The tour begins at 3 p.m. on the west side of the cemetery near the chapel. Participants will visit the graves of eight exceptional individuals and hear stories about their lives and lasting impact on Appanoose County’s history.
The event offers an opportunity to learn more about the people and stories that helped shape the region while experiencing the historic cemetery in a unique setting.
Admission is $7 per person. Those attending should meet on the west side of Oakland Cemetery near the chapel before the tour begins.
The Haunted History Tour is presented by the Appanoose County Historical Society.
