Officer Logan Nord was recently recognized as the 2026 Iowa Association of School Resource Officers (IASRO) School Resource Officer of the Year.
Nord has served as a School Resource Officer for Oskaloosa Schools for four years, working to build relationships with students, staff and families while supporting school safety. His work has included programs such as Lunch Bunch, Lunches with Logan and Cops for Kind Kids, along with serving as a DARE instructor and mentoring students.
The Oskaloosa Community School District recognized Nord during its September 8 school board meeting, thanking him for his service and commitment to keeping students and staff safe, healthy and inspired.
Nord continues to serve as a School Resource Officer with the Oskaloosa Police Department.
