A new group of Iowa National Guard Soldiers is marking an important milestone in their military careers.
The Soldiers received their unit patches during patching ceremonies held September 8 and 9. The ceremony recognizes the work and training they have completed as they continue their journey with the Iowa National Guard.
Receiving a unit patch is a proud moment for Soldiers and represents their connection to their unit, fellow service members and the mission ahead.
The Iowa National Guard congratulated the newest patched Soldiers and encouraged them to continue learning, leading and proudly wearing their unit patches.
