Keokuk County nonprofit organizations are invited to apply for the Sarah Beatty Trust Community Enhancement Grant, with proposals due by October 15th, 2026, according to a social media post from Keokuk County Economic Development.
The grant is funded by the Sarah Beatty Trust and is designed to support organizations that serve the public good in Keokuk County. Sarah Beatty was a lifelong Keokuk County resident with a strong interest in supporting charitable, educational, and religious organizations in her community.
To be eligible, organizations must be recognized as a charitable, educational, or religious nonprofit operating on a nonprofit basis while providing a public or community benefit. Applicants must be registered 501(c)(3) organizations.
Proposals must include the organization’s name, complete contact information and email, a description of the organization’s mission and activities, a brief overview of programs and communities served, and proof of nonprofit status such as an IRS determination letter. Proposals may be reviewed and grants awarded on a rolling basis depending on community needs.
All proposals must be received by October 15th, 2026 and should be mailed to MidWestOne Bank, Attn: Private Wealth, P.O. Box 1700, Iowa City, Iowa 52244-1700.
