Visitors to the Environmental Learning Center now have a new way to explore the natural beauty surrounding the facility.
A new viewing scope has been installed at the center, giving visitors a closer look at the Oxbow Wetlands and Caldwell Park. The addition is designed to provide a more interactive experience while helping visitors observe and learn more about the area’s natural environment.
Mahaska County Conservation says the viewing scope was donated by the Golden Goose Club. The organization’s contribution will help enhance the learning center and make the experience more accessible and engaging for visitors.
Visitors are encouraged to stop by the Environmental Learning Center and take a closer look at the Oxbow Wetlands and Caldwell Park through the new viewing scope.
