A Webster County man who’d been reported missing was seriously injured early Wednesday afternoon in an accident on Highway 30 near State Center.

The Marshall County Sheriffs Office says the driver of the passenger vehicle involved in the crash was 89-year-old Robert Craigmile of Gowrie, who had been reported missing on Tuesday. Craigmile was severely injured in the accident and taken to the hospital in Marshalltown before being transferred to Iowa Methodist in Des Moines.

On Wednesday morning, the Gowrie Police Department said Craigmile left his home in a Chevy Equinox and was last known to be in the Tama area.

Thirty-eight-year-old Joshua Good of Ogden was the driver of the commercial tractor trailer involved in the Wednesday afternoon accident near State Center. He was not injured.
