The Wapello County Farm Bureau will host its annual Food Truck Night on Friday, July 17th at the Wapello County Expo Fairgrounds, located at 13011 120th Avenue in Ottumwa, according to a press release from the Wapello County Farm Bureau.
The Farm Bureau tent will be open from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., where current Wapello County Farm Bureau members can receive a Farm Bureau t-shirt and $20 in food vouchers while supplies last. Members are encouraged to arrive early to take advantage of the promotion. Guests can also register at the Farm Bureau tent for a grilling-themed giveaway.
Ten food vendors and booths will be on site, including Pleasant U and I Sodbusters 4-H Club, Kiwanis Funnel Cake Trailer, Delicious Expressions, Bub’s Grub, The Good Stuff Ice Cream, La Corona, Knot Your Average Pretzel, J’s Gourmet Grilled Cheese and More, Lucky Clovers 4-H Club, and Tim and Suzy’s Kettlecorn.
Live music begins at 6:00 p.m. as Jennifer Lynn Handling and Revolution Band take the stage, sponsored by the Wapello County Farm Bureau. The band will perform until 10:00 p.m., playing a mix of rock and roll, country, classic rock, southern rock, and blues.
Families with children are encouraged to participate in the annual pedal pull competition. Registration opens at 6:45 p.m. and the event begins at 7:00 p.m. Participants will compete in age divisions, with the top three finishers in each class receiving medals. Every child who participates will receive a complimentary t-shirt sponsored by the Wapello County Farm Bureau.
