A Centerville man was arrested after police say he left a menacing voice message to an establishment north of the Indian Hills Community College Ottumwa campus.
Joe Glantz, 63, has been charged with threatened intimidation with a dangerous weapon with intent, a Class C felony.
On July 28th at 1:00 PM, Glantz left a voicemail for Iowa Workforce Development on Truman Street in Ottumwa expressing his displeasure with the business, according to Lieutenant Jason Bell of the Ottumwa Police Department. Glantz allegedly said: “I’m about to go up there and just f****** shoot the whole f******* place.”
Glantz was taken into custody and transported to the Wapello County Jail. He is being held without bond pending a hearing with a magistrate judge.
