Marilyn Denny, 83, of Oskaloosa passed away Friday, July 17, 2026, at her home in Oskaloosa.
Marilyn Jane Denny, daughter of Clair Edward and Mildred Eva (Feaster) Denny, was born March 21, 1943, in Delta, Iowa. She was a 1961 graduate of Delta High School. Most of her working career was spent working in an insurance agency. She was a member of the Jubilee Family Church, where she enjoyed the fellowship of her church family. She loved her church deeply and also enjoyed reading.
Her family includes five nieces and nephews: Mary, Susan, Ellen, Randy, and Danny; and her cousin, Donivan Childers of Central City, IA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sally McCombs, and a brother, Billy Denny.
Memorial services for Marilyn will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Langkamp Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bill Tvedt of the Jubilee Family Church officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Burial will be in Tioga Cemetery.
