Jo Ann Liles, 90, of Floris, passed away peacefully at 9:10 a.m. July 3, 2026.
She was born April 10, 1936 in Ottumwa to Orris and Deloris Fitzsimmons Parks. She married John Albert Liles, Jr. October 7, 1954 and he preceded her in death March 14, 2021.
A 1954 graduate of Ottumwa High School, Jo Ann had worked 5 years at PLEXCO and 8 years at J&B Plastics.
She enjoyed sewing, camping, cooking, playing cards and loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.
Surviving are her children, Dennis (Janice) Liles, Kerri Walker, Tracy Liles, Scott (Mick) Liles, all of Floris, Renee (Jeff) Stevens of Fairfield, Brian Liles of Ames, Wendi (Kevin) Garrett, Nick (Brandie) Liles, both of Bloomfield; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 4 siblings, Maxine Heckathorn of Fairfield, Eva (Vic) Whitney of Illinois, Judy (Mike) Cox of Fairfield, David (Debbie) Parks of Missouri; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 children, Steven and Sherri; 2 brothers, Richard and Max Parks; and her in-laws.
A private visitation will be held at Reece Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the visitation.
A time to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the family.
