Carrie Meza (DeVoll), July 3, 1971- July 28, 2026, Carrie was born in Rochester, New Hampshire, and was a loving mother, stepmother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.
She leaves behind a legacy shaped by love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to the people she cherished most. Carrie will be remembered for the warmth she brought into every room, the laughter she shared so freely, and the love she poured into her family. Her strength, courage, and deeply held beliefs kept her at peace throughout her final journey, surrounding her with the same grace she carried through every chapter of her life. Her kindness and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She was born to Seth DeVoll and Carole DeVoll (Chabot), who raised her with the values she carried throughout her life — kindness, resilience, and her guiding belief: “Family first. Always.” Carrie never asked for much from the world. What she wanted — and what she lived for — was simple: to be a good mom and to take care of her family. She fulfilled that purpose with a full heart.
She was known for her bright, contagious laugh, especially when she was cracking herself up. Her ability to laugh at her own jokes brought joy to everyone around her, and even on difficult days, she could lighten the room with a smile and a one liner she found far funnier than anyone else did.
Carrie is survived by her husband, Claudio Meza Jr; her children, daughter Hannah Allen (and her spouse Andy); son Tayte DeVoll (and his spouse Paige) grandchildren children, Walker and Baylor; and son Hayden Root (and his spouse Kayla). She is also survived by her stepchildren, Andrea, Ashley, Ayla, and Angle and siblings Kip Devoll, and the world-famous Sherry Sievers. She was predeceased by her parents, Seth DeVoll and Carole DeVoll (Chabot), and her siblings, Chad DeVoll and Tod DeVoll
A celebration of life will be announced later. In lieu of flowers, they ask that you honor her memory by putting family first today — just as she always did.
