The City of Ottumwa is advising motorists of a temporary closure of the Jefferson Street Bridge on Thursday, July 9, 2026, to allow for scheduled maintenance.
The bridge will be closed from approximately 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. During the closure, drivers should use alternate routes and allow extra travel time, particularly during the morning commute.
