The Fairfield Trojans baseball team finished the 2026 season with an 18-14 record and a second-place finish in Southeast Conference play, with several players earning postseason recognition at both the conference and district level.

Southeast Conference Honors

Six Trojans earned First Team All-Conference recognition. Dain Burkhart, a senior, led the pitching staff as the team’s ace, going 8-1 with a 2.25 ERA while batting .423 at the plate. Aiden Westercamp, a senior catcher who batted .352, has committed to Indian Hills Community College to continue his baseball career. Archer Kreuter, a senior outfielder, led the team with a .473 batting average and a 1.330 OPS and has committed to Cornell College to continue playing as well.

Also earning First Team All-Conference honors were Ethan Bisgard, a junior outfielder who batted .435, Voss Richardson, a junior infielder who batted .404, and Jaxon Coleman, a sophomore utility player who batted .280. All three will return to the Trojans next season, along with other non-seniors on the roster, giving Fairfield a strong foundation to build on and capitalize on the success of the 2026 campaign.

Jacob Crew, a senior outfielder who batted .266, and Dayson Workman, a senior infielder who batted .250, each earned Second Team All-Conference recognition. Chase Countryman, a sophomore who batted .222, and Owen Adam, a freshman who batted .273, received honorable mention recognition.

Eight Trojans were also named to the Academic All-Conference team: Dain Burkhart, Jacob Crew, Carson Elmore, Archer Kreuter, Aiden Westercamp, Dayson Workman, Ethan Bisgard, and Voss Richardson.
