PAWS & More Animal Shelter is inviting pet owners to show off their furry friends while supporting a good cause through its 2027 Pet Calendar Contest.
The shelter is currently accepting photo submissions for its annual fundraising calendar. Pet owners can enter a favorite photo of their pet for $10 per entry through June 30. Once entered, friends, family, and supporters can vote for their favorite pets, with each vote costing $1.
The 35 photos receiving the most votes will earn a spot in the 2027 calendar.
The photo with the highest number of votes will be named the 2027 Pet of the Year and will be featured on the calendar cover as well as inside the calendar. The next 10 highest vote-getters will be recognized as Pet of the Month winners and will receive a full-page feature during one month of the year.
In addition, a panel of judges made up of PAWS & More board members and staff will select a Best in Show photo, which will also receive a large monthly feature. The next 24 photos with the most votes will be highlighted as Pet of the Week winners, with two featured on each calendar page.
All proceeds from the contest will help support construction of the shelter’s new facility.
