Parole notifications for April and May, 2026 To the Citizens of Wapello County:
Iowa’s prison system utilizes indeterminate sentences, meaning inmates may be paroled before completing their full sentence. The County Attorney’s Office lacks authority over release decisions, which fall under the jurisdiction of the Board of Parole. In April and May, notifications were issued regarding inmates being released to Wapello County. So that citizens may be informed, below are the details of these notifications, including approximate time served prior to release1:
1. K.K. was sentenced to 5 years and paroled in 2 years.*
2. M.S. was sentenced to 25 years, paroled in 5 months, revoked with new crime, 5 years added to sentence, paroled in 8 months.
3. S.S. was sentenced to 10 years, paroled in 2 years and 5 months.*
4. J.E. was sentenced to 5 years, paroled in 9 months.
5. D.V. was sentenced to 25 yearse, paroled in 2 years and 9 months, revoked, paroled in 9 months, revoked, paroled in 1 year, revoked, paroled in in 11 months, revoked, sentenced discharged in 5 months.
6. J.G. sentenced to 7 years, discharged in 3 years.
7. S.R. sentenced to 35 years, paroled in 8 years.*
8. S.C. sentenced to 5 years, paroled in 6 months.
9. A.D. special sentenced revocation, served 5 years.
10. A.C. sentenced to 5 years, paroled in 10 months.
11. R.A sentenced to 5 years, paroled in 1 year and 3 months.
12. K.C. sentenced to 4 years, paroled in 7 months.
13. T.W. special sentence revocation, served 5 years.
14. B.D. sentenced to 5 years, paroled in 2 years and 3 months.*
15. S.I.C. sentenced to 10 years, paroled in 3 years and 7 months.*
16. D.M. sentenced to 5 years, paroled in 1 year and 7 months.
17. C.B. sentenced to 20 years, paroled in 2 years and 1 month.*
18. C.M. sentenced to 7 years, paroled in 1 year.
19. A.L. sentenced to 15 years, paroled in 1 year, revoked with new crime 10 years added to sentence, paroled in 5 years.*
20. J.W. sentenced to 15 years, paroled in 1 year and 3 months.
