Join the Blakesburg Historical Preservation Society for the second annual “Music on the Porch” event featuring Tom Blew on Sunday, June 28, from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the historic 1892 Abernathy House (203 N. Main) in Blakesburg.
A lifelong resident of the Ottumwa area, Tom Blew has a distinguished career in the regional music scene. He began playing drums at age 5 and later expanded his talents to guitar, building a successful solo career performing classic Americana, blues, and jazz. Today, Tom is known for his energetic acoustic performances that span multiple generations and musical genres.
Food will be available for purchase during the event, so gather your friends and family and enjoy an afternoon of music, food, and fellowship on the lawn of the historic Abernathy House.
