Maharishi International University has announced the launch of its first-ever men’s and women’s cross country program, naming Rafael Muniz as the program’s inaugural head coach, according to a social media post from MIU Athletics.
Muniz brings more than ten years of coaching experience across multiple levels, as well as a background as a former professional soccer player in Brazil. MIU Athletics said his versatility and competitive drive make him the right fit to lead the program in its first season.
“It is a pleasure and a huge responsibility representing MIU and the cross country program in its first season,” Muniz said.
