Marguerite Mae “Maggie” Arnold, 66, of Bloomfield, Iowa passed away on June 18, 2026, at her home. She was born on February 3, 1960, in Bloomfield, Iowa to Donald Rex and Darlene Hoover Jacobs. She graduated from Davis County High School in 1978. On January 7, 1980, she married Terry Arnold in Bloomfield. The couple lived in Davis County and raised two sons: Kerry and Nathan.
Maggie worked in human resources at the Davis County Hospital for many years and later worked in payroll at the Van Buren County Hospital. She enjoyed planting flowers, listening to 80’s rock, bird watching, and evening drives with Terry. Above all, Maggie loved spending time with her family – especially her grandchildren. Her family was the most important part of her life and she will be forever in their hearts.
She is survived by her husband, Terry; two sons, Kerry Arnold of Memphis, Missouri, Nathan Arnold of Bloomfield; four grandchildren, Megan (Zach) Curry of Memphis, Missouri, James (Nova) Arnold of Wyaconda, Missouri, Olivia Arnold, Nathan Arnold Jr. both of Rocky Ford, Colorado; a great-grandchild on the way; and two siblings, Dianne Stein of Aurora, Missouri, Chris Jacobs of Bloomfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, David, Jimmy, and Tom Jacobs.
Visitation for Maggie will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the family present to greet friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Following visitation, cremation will take place. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026, at the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield with Pastor Matt Froah officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to her family.
