Mahaska Health in Oskaloosa, along with Ottumwa Radio Group, would like to congratulate Albia Baseball player Jaxon Strickler, our 92.7 KTWA Athlete of the Week!
The senior had a dominant week on the mound. Last Monday, Strickler tossed a one-hit shutout of Clarke while striking out seven in a six-inning 10-0 win. Then, on Friday, he followed up with a complete game against Cardinal, striking out 13 in a 12-4 win.
Our KTWA Athlete of the Week program is made possible thanks to the generosity of Mahaska Health, plus the cooperation of our area schools. This is a great accomplishment and one to be very proud of.
