Kreg John Tate, 66, of Agency, died at 5:10 p.m. June 7, 2026 at his residence.
He was born August 5, 1959 in Webster City to William J. and Mary Lou Hoeppner Tate.
Kreg was a 1978 graduate of Eagle Grove High School. He had worked at Nissen in Webster City, and for Eagle Grove Green House. He had also worked as a lifeguard at Eagle Grove swimming pool. While living in Missouri, Kreg worked as a disability coordinator before moving back to Agency.
He enjoyed taking care of the yard.
Surviving is his mother, Mary Lou Tate of Agency; his sister, Cheri (Terry) Lyons of Agency; sister-in-law, Sue Tate of Humboldt, IA; nephews and nieces, Brady Lyons, Kinsey White, Lee Cameron and Amy Tinken; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Tate; his brother, Brian Tate and his twin brother, Chris Tate.
His body has been cremated and no services are planned.
