Pulse Life Advocates and other pro-life organizations across the state will sponsor the fourth annual Iowa March for Life at the Iowa Capitol on Saturday June 20, 2026.
This will be the fourth Iowa March for Life since the court decision, Roe vs. Wade, was overturned in June 2022. Abortion law is now decided by individual states as to how best to regulate or in some instances to eliminate abortion from their state. While Iowa has passed significant life legislation, we still have abortion in our state. We will continue to advocate for equal protection in the law for all Iowa citizens, born and
unborn.
We will begin our day at noon in the rotunda of the Iowa Capitol with music and educational booths. Our rally will follow at 1pm and feature Lt. Gov. Chris Cournoyer, AG Brenna Bird, Representative Devon Wood, Marlene Downing from Susan B. Anthony and many other pro-life leaders.
Directly following the rally, we will march around the Iowa State Capitol and Iowa Supreme Court Building. We conclude at the Liberty Bell with refreshments and a pro- life display by Students for Life of America.
The Iowa March for Life is an opportunity to proclaim the value of all human life and advocate for the protection of life in our law.
