Community members are invited to gather this weekend for a special remembrance event designed to honor the lives of loved ones who have passed away.
Cranston Family Funeral Home is hosting its inaugural “A Day to Remember” remembrance walk on Saturday at the Jefferson County Health Center Wellness Loop Trail. The event is open to anyone looking for a peaceful opportunity to reflect, remember, and connect with others who have experienced loss.
The morning will begin at 8:30 a.m. near the Wellness Loop Trail, with organizers providing guidance for parking and access to the walking area. Following a brief welcome, participants will be free to walk the trail at their own pace, spending as much time as they wish enjoying the quiet surroundings.
The remembrance walk will continue until 10:30 a.m. Organizers hope the gathering becomes an annual tradition for families and friends throughout the area.
