Cory Dwain Warner was born on July 9, 1980, in Fairfield, IA to Brian and Lorie Leyden Warner. From an early age he loved anything that went fast and was on wheels. Cory got his first 3-wheeler at the age of four and never looked back. He attended and graduated from Van Buren High School with the class of 1998 much to the delight of both him and his parents. Cory entered the workforce following graduation, taking a job with Schaus-Vorhies in Fairfield. He spent several years there before starting a career with Douds Stone working his way up to his current position as supervisor.

In 2000 Cory met the love of his life, Tiffany Smith. He was a man of few words about emotion but made a point to tell his mom that he had met a girl and she was the one. They began their story together as husband and wife on September 7, 2002, at the Hope Lutheran Church in Germanville. Together they became the loving parents of two children, Gavin and Kennedy.

Cory loved the outdoors. From fishing and mushroom hunting to just spending time mowing the lawn, it was where he wanted to be. He continued his love of fast things on wheels with his dirt bike hobby and never missed an opportunity to have a cold Natty Light with friends. Cory laughed loudly, loved deeply, and will be missed by his family and his many, many friends.

Cory was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, his father Brian Warner and mother-in-law, Colleen Smith.

Left to share his story is his wife, Tiffany Warner of Birmingham, IA; two children, Gavin Waner (fiancé Jaelyn) and Kennedy Warner; his mother, Lorie Warner, and brother Brandon (Lizzie) Warner, as well as his extended family and friends.
