Ann Holdeman, 82, of Bloomfield, Iowa passed away October 25, 2026. She was born November 7, 1943 in Fairview, Oklahoma to Elmer and Lena Smith Kahn. On August 12, 1962, she married Arlyn Holdeman in DeRidder, Louisiana. She lived in Mississippi most of her adult life and moved to Iowa in January of 2020. Ann loved the beauty of Iowa, the four seasons, and observing the slower pace in Iowa. She was a member of the Bloomfield Mennonite Church.
She is survived by her husband, Arlyn; three children, Wynona Holdeman of Bloomfield, Forrest (Kendra) Holdeman of Detroit, Texas, Sandra (Linley) Toews of Bloomfield; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Susie; two sons, Harold Holdeman, Aaron Holdeman; and one infant great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at the Bloomfield Mennonite Church. Burial will be at the Bloomfield Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Visitation with the family present to greet friends will be from 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at the Bloomfield Mennonite Church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Bloomfield Mennonite Church.
