Cindy Martin, 70, of Oskaloosa passed away May 3, 2026, at her home in Oskaloosa. She was born February 28, 1956, in Oskaloosa, Iowa. The daughter of Ronald Allgood and Phylis Clopton-Allgood. She grew up and attended school in Iowa and worked various jobs throughout her life including working on an Air Force Base, Construction on bridges, Telemarketing, and a few others. But her most important job was being a stay-at-home mom/grandmother. She spent quite a few years in Texas where she met her husband Rocky and they had their daughter. Cindy and Rocky were united in marriage on October 12, 2020, in Oskaloosa, after 35 years together. She loved Jesus and her family with her whole heart and would do anything for them. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and grilling out, but her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family, pets, and grandchildren.
Her family includes; 2 Daughters and 1 son, Haley Frye, Rawnee (Nathan Whitlatch) Martin, and Billy (Lindsey) Meyers; 10 grandchildren, Blake Wearmouth, Conner Wearmouth, Ethan Wearmouth, Maddox Whitlach, Dylan Meyers, Makenzi Meyers, Bailey Meyers, Hunter Holdsworth, Bently Holdsworth, And Easton Holdsworth, of Oskaloosa, Iowa; 1 Step Daughter, Amy (Jeremy) Willis of Texas; 2 step grandchildren Ava Willis and Jameson Willis; And a brother, Rick Allgood of Oskaloosa.
She is preceded in death by her mother, father, husband Rocky, brother Gary, and sister Diane.
As was Cindy’s wish her body has been cremated and no services are planned. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
