A two-vehicle crash involving a passenger vehicle and farm equipment is under investigation following an incident reported in Marion County.
Authorities say the collision occurred along Highway 163 when a westbound tractor pulling a trailer was struck from behind by a vehicle traveling in the same direction. Emergency responders arrived on scene and assessed those involved.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was transported to a local hospital for treatment, while the operator of the tractor was not injured.
Officials remind motorists to use caution when approaching slow-moving agricultural equipment, particularly during peak farming seasons when such vehicles are more common on roadways. The incident remains under investigation.
