Graham “Conan” Allen Ward, 60, died April 27, 2026.
He was born July 8, 1965 in Quincy, IL to Eli Eugene and Janet Mae Tillotson Ward.
Graham graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1983. While living in Milwaukee, WI for a short time, he had earned an accounting degree and was a clerk at Sentry Grocery. Moving back to Ottumwa, Graham worked in construction and as a carpenter and roofer.
He enjoyed fitness and was an avid body builder. Graham also enjoyed gaming and had a soft heart for the less fortunate.
Surviving is his son, Sarouk Ward of Ottumwa; his father, Eli Ward of Ottumwa; siblings, Jennie (Malvin) Johnson of Johnston, Cedric Ward of Crivitz, WI, Norman (Connie) Ward of Ottumwa, Molly Coltrain of Ames and Reggie Ward of Centerville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Ward; brother, Burley Ward; sister-in-law, Carrie Ward; and a brother-in-law, Scott Coltrain.
Visitation will be open after 2 p.m. Thursday April 30th at Reece Funeral Home with family present to greet friends from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday May 1st at Reece Funeral Home with Norman Ward officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
