Wapello County officials are advising motorists of a temporary road closure on Cemetery Road due to railroad crossing maintenance work being completed by BNSF Railway.
The Cemetery Road railroad crossing located south of Agency will be closed on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The closure will affect approximately 553 feet of roadway while crews perform construction and repair work at the crossing site.
Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes and use caution when traveling in the area. Delays should be expected during the closure period.
