Assignments for the 2026 IHSAA boys spring golf postseason have been released, detailing sectional and district placements for area programs including Centerville, Fairfield, Oskaloosa, Albia, Davis County, Van Buren County, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (EBF), Sigourney, and Keota.
Sectional meets are scheduled for Wednesday, May 13, followed by district competition on Monday, May 18. Team and individual qualifiers from those rounds will advance to the 2026 IHSAA Spring Golf Championships, set for May 26-27. Class 3A and Class 2A state meets will be played in Waterloo, while Class 1A will compete in Newton.
At each sectional and district site, the top three teams will advance, along with the top two overall individual golfers (plus ties) from non-qualifying teams.
Class 1A
Keota and Sigourney are assigned to a sectional hosted by Iowa Valley at the Marengo Golf Club, beginning at 10 a.m.

Golfers advancing from these sectionals will compete at the district meet on Monday, May 18 at Oskaloosa Golf in Oskaloosa at 10 a.m., hosted by Sigourney.
Class 2A
Albia, Davis County, Van Buren County, and Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont are assigned to a sectional hosted by Davis County at the Bloomfield Country Club, beginning at 10 a.m.

Class 3A
Fairfield will host a Class 3A sectional at the Fairfield Golf and Country Club beginning at 10 a.m., featuring area teams Centerville and Fairfield.

Oskaloosa will be hosting a Class 3A sectional as well in the same district as Fairfield, at the Edmundson Golf Course at 10 a.m.

Advancing teams and individuals will compete at the district meet at Bos Landen on Monday, May 18 at 10 a.m., hosted by Pella.
With sectional assignments finalized across all three classes, area teams now turn their attention towards conference meets, and then May 13, where the postseason begins with a chance to advance through districts and ultimately qualify for the state tournament later in the month.
